2008 Preview: Gnarls Barkley

Gnarls Barkley, who for nine weeks in 2006 had the nation gripped in hopeful anticipation that they would beat Wet Wet Wet’s 14-weeks-at-number-1-record (but then deleted the single, so we still have to hear people going on about bloody “Love Is All Around”), make a glittering, soulful comeback to your stereos, and Radio One most probably, on April 15, 2008 with their sophomore record (a lot of which seem to be appearing this year), The Odd Couple.
Phew, that was a long-winded and badly written sentence.
Anyway, this is what you mostly likely came here for – the leaked song from the album, the rather threatening “Run”, which is currently cropping up on various other MP3 blogs, only to be swiftly taken down. Hopefully this blog is obscure enough to avoid that, eh?
